When it is cold outside and there is a blanket of snow on the ground, it looks like a winter wonderland as the small ice crystals sparkle in the sunlight like the diamond engagement rings. What makes a winter wedding so special is the time of year. It is the holiday season and people are naturally in a more giving mood and friends and family gather from all around the country. You can add some sparkle to your winter wedding by choosing crystal glasses and candle holders and winter plants that set the mood in either reds and greens or whites. You can also add jewelry that captures sparkle of the season and faux white furs that blend in with the scenery.

You menu for your winter wedding can consist of winter foods from pumpkin pie, spiced cider to a nice succulent roast. It all depends on you and your guest’s tastes. You can have your winter wedding at a lodge or old mansion that provides guests suites and has a nice large room with a fireplace so the bride and groom can have a nice fireside wedding.

Whatever your style or taste planning a winter wedding will take creativity and a budget. If you want something simple plan to use a small budget but if you want to go all out you will also need to plan a budget in advance that can accommodate all your needs.
